      The Glasgow School of Art MFA Auction 2010

      The Glasgow School of Art MFA Auction 2010 will be held Saturday, December 4th, 2010 in the McLellan Galleries at 272 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. Entrance is through the back door on Renfrew Street (in between Rose Street and Dalhousie Street).

      Annual fundraising auction by second-year Master of Fine Art students at the Glasgow School of Art, featuring work by contemporary artists such as David Shrigley, Claire Barclay, Ryan Gander, Jim Lambie, and many more.

      The auction is held in order to raise funds for the MFA degree show and international exhibition, and remains an essential entry in the diary of both seasoned and budding art collectors.

      The 2010 Auction will feature work by acclaimed artists such as Martin Creed, Jim Lambie, Christine Borland, David Bellingham, Graham Fagen, Toby Paterson, as well as by current and recent graduates of the MFA program, including 2010 BP Portrait Young Artist Award winner Elizabeth McDonald.
